Bob McKenna

As managing broker of Austin Real Estate Partners, Bob is a strong believer in the importance of teamwork to create a collaborative environment among agents and support staff. Bob also believes in partnering with clients to provide the objective support they need and deserve on every real estate transaction.

Bob founded Austin Real Estate Partners with his wife Melinda in 2003 after a successful 15-year career in finance, marketing and corporate strategy for such noted technology companies as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Compaq Computer (now HP), and Vignette.

Bob earned a bachelor’s of science in management science and computer systems and a minor in economics from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in international management from the Jones Graduate School at Rice University in Houston. He is an avid football fan and an average golfer.

Terri Savage

Terri is more than a valued client advisor at Austin Real Estate Partners - she was once a client! She met the McKennas in 2005 and was so impressed with the highly personal way they did business that she decided to join the team as an agent. “They were unlike any Realtors I had ever met,” she says. “I was not just a transaction to them. They really cared and it showed in their actions.” Terri now considers herself an extension of the company, and is dedicated to helping others have a positive real estate experience, caring deeply for her clients and the community. She is active in her church and has volunteered at local schools, a children’s camp, retirement center and women’s crisis center. Terri also has an associate’s degree in business. She and her husband live in southwest Austin with their daughter.

Les Sherman

A proud Austinite, dad and Realtor, Les Sherman has 35 years experience in the real estate industry - including sales, appraisal, construction, and financing - and has worked in the Austin metropolitan marketplace for 29 years. His 15 years in the appraisal industry provide him with a unique perspective to offer his clients. He was also honored with production awards each of his 14 years with RE/MAX Austin Associates as both as a buyer and seller representative. He earned a bachelor’s of business administration in real estate and finance from Baylor University, and he enjoys photography, running, live music and social networking. Les thrives on overcomes obstacles and loves saving his clients money. A true consumer advocate, he strives to meet client goals while keeping the process fun and painless along the way.

Tara West

Tara has been a Realtor for six years and loves building relationships and passionately serving her community. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she has lived in Circle C for 11 years, and she and her husband Frank, a custom homebuilder, have two children at Clayton Elementary. Tara earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology from Baylor University, and is an active volunteer with the Clayton Elementary Campus Advisory Council and PTA executive boards, as well as in her church's children's ministry.
