* Nancy owned and operated Applewood Gardens Banquet Center in Niles for five years.

* She then was employed by Meyer Jabara Hotels Holiday Inn Metroplex in Youngstown for 16 years, holding several positions with her last being General manager.

* Nancy is also a faculty instructor of Hospitality at Youngstown State University.

* David was the Controller and Director of Personnel at U.S. Gypsum Corp. in Warren and Kewanee Illinois for eight years. In 1980, he returned to the Mahoning Valley as Controller of Schaefer Equipment,Inc. in Warren. He moved on to become an owner of the company and served as Senior VP and CFO before taking the company public in 2006.

* David is also owner and President of Darco Industries, Inc and its affiliated DBAs which he founded in 1996. The Real Estate business operates as a division of that Corporation.

* Nancy enjoys gardening, cooking, music, and classic movies. David has two adult children, Elizabeth and Alexander. He is a stockholder of the Green Bay Packers and some of his favorite passions are music, classic cars, the stock market, golf, bocce, billiards, and most importantly, spending time with family.

David and Nancy Rubino, previously with Coldwell Banker, joined Northwood Realty Services in April of 2010. Prior to starting their Real Estate career, the couple attended ETI College for their real estate training. They are both also graduates of Youngstown State University.

My wife and I decided to become Realtors since we both love dealing with the public and it is one of only a few professions that we could do together. We enjoy customer service and derive great personal satisfaction when we exceed our clients' expectations. Purchasing real estate is one of the most important decisions someone can make and assisting in achieving their goals is very gratifying.

We joined Northwood Ralty Services for a variety of reasons after interviewing and researching most of the Brokerages in the Mahoning Valley. Northwood seems to have the best methods for making each customer their most important customer. It appears they have the highest repeat and referral rate. This speaks volumes about customer service.
