Dory Skemp loves people and houses and so real estate has been a perfect fit for over 20 years. "Real estate is fun," she says, "because I meet interesting people from all walks of life and from all parts of the country and even the world." Looking for or selling a house, big or small, new or old, can be stressful, but not when you are working with Dory as your Realtor.

Her remarkable enthusiasm, patience and attention to detail carries both buyers and sellers right through to the closing table. Growing up in the Connecticut/New York/New Jersey area, Dory found her way to Bristol in 1972 when she drove over the Mt. Hope Bridge, discovered the historic downtown, and said "This is it! This is where I want to live." Having originally pursued her Bachelor's Degree in journalism at the University of Colorado in the 1960s, she completed her degree in historic preservation at Roger Williams University. As a result, her extensive knowledge of historic houses and resources throughout Rhode island is an added asset for buyers and sellers of the historic home.
