The Right Place at the Right Time

After a 20 year career on Wall Street, I moved to Maine to raise my children. Although I loved my time in NY, I gained so much when I came here, learning to love this state and all it has to offer. My three daughters now are 24, 14, and 10, with my oldest daughter living in NY herself. Previously, I hadn’t imagined myself living in an 1870’s farmhouse with attached barn, let alone using the chicken coop (already converted to artist studios) as my husband’s office.


Finding the Balance

I discovered that a career in real estate served my desire to enter into a relationship business that emphasizes the individual not just money. I particularly enjoy the process of valuing properties and the transactional nature of the business, but the personal interactions are what I’ve come to value the most.


Passing on Traditions

My family and I love playing music together. I play the stand up bass and my daughter has evolved into a highly regarded champion fiddle player in her age group. I have played with two bluegrass bands called the Grassholes and the Weedwackers and have established an ongoing “Bluegrass Extravaganza” get together at my home in North Yarmouth with various local musicians.
