She also works a great deal with clients relocating to or from another area. Valarie and her husband, Emmette, are active members of First Baptist Concord along with their children, Gray and Mandy. Emmette is in full-time ministry with The Mission of Hope, an Appalachian relief ministry. Valarie's son, Gray is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and is currently in Pilot Training in Columbus, Mississippi. Her daughter, Mandy, is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville where she is currently employed with the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation.
Professional Experience
Valarie has been a Realtor in the Knoxville area Since 1995. She has a B.S. from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN and an MBA in Business from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In addition Valarie has continued her education in Real Estate by achieving the following Real Estate specific credentials , ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), LTG (Leadership Training Graduate), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), RRC (Referral and Relocation Certification), e-PRO (Internet Professional), and GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), PMN (Performance Management Network, SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert). She has a great deal of business experience-- she has worked with the State Department of Education, taught business in high school and the college level. Valare joined Re/Max Preferred Properties in 1998 after specializing in new constructions for 5 years. Valarie has received the Knoxville Area Association Gold Award of Excellence since 1998. In addition she has received the Hall of Fame Award with KAAR and REMAX.
