Kathy and Susan and their families have been close friends for over twenty years. Their friendship began in in Greensboro, North Carolina where Kathy was a local realtor. Several years later, both of their families had an opportunity to move to the Atlanta area, and both chose to relocate to west Cobb County.

Their friendship has continued, and they have been involved in many things together. They led the women's ministry at their church for many years. And during those years they also owned a successful home interiors business together. Yet Kathy always knew that she would return to the real estate career she had enjoyed in North Carolina. When she made the decision to return to real estate, she asked Susan to partner with her in that endeavor as well.
