Originally born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, I made his way to Schertz, Texas at the young age of 3. I moved across the state of Texas throughout my childhood eight times, eventually ended up in Harrington, Delaware when I was 13. After graduating high school, I entered the Army at the age of 17.
My experiences in the Army have been vast, successful, and rewarding. I have relocated 16 times due to military relocations. This experience has helped me exponentially in real estate, as I have experienced the stresses of relocations and use those experiences to guide my clients through the turbulence that comes with buying and selling homes and relocating because I have been there.
I have been involved in real estate in some fashion since 2008, when I began my venture in property management. I found a great joy working with my tenant. While living in Fairbanks, Alaska, I had the distinct opportunity to manage the Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, assisting more than 400 families finding affordable housing. We have a lot of needs, but to be involved in helping families find affordable warm housing in Alaska was truly rewarding.
As an avid self-improver, I am always learning. My civilian education includes receiving an Associate’s Degree from Pikes Peak Community College with Honors, two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Colorado State University with Honors, and a Master of Science from Colorado State University with Honors. To further my education and to ultimately provide better service to my clients I have taken numerous courses to achieve designations and certifications in Real Estate Negotiations Expert (RENE), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Texas Veteran Land Board (VLB), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS), Seller Representation Specialist (SRS), Accredited Buyer Representative, Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute Marketing, and many more, to ensure that when you choose me for your next real estate transaction you are getting a highly qualified and motivated REALTOR ®.
When I am not working, I am actively volunteering in my community. I have volunteered with homeless shelters, food banks, domestic violence shelters, soup kitchens, habitat for humanity, parks and recreation departments, Angel Tree, Boy Scouts, and more to include mentoring 16 at risk youth students, President of the Eielson Air Force Base Enlisted Spouse Club, and as a volunteer fire fighter in Delaware, New York and here in Texas. I find that helping my community is quite a rewarding experience.
Due to my history in military service and the community I offer a Community Heroes Program where I provide a portion of my commission to military members active and veterans, first responders, and teachers to be applied to their closing costs. Additionally, I have a program established where I provide a portion of my commission to non-profit organizations to help them to reach and serve those who benefit from their services.
