Tressie is the Qualifying Broker of Cedar Bluff Real Estate. She has received her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation and the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Alabama Association of Realtors, on the Board of Directors for the Etowah Cherokee Association of Realtors, the North Alabama Multiple Listing Service, and is licensed in both Alabama and Georgia.

She and her husband Bob are both lifelong residents of Cherokee County and have a cattle farm in Gaylesville. She served as secretary/treasurer of the Cherokee County Cattlemen' Association for several years. She is also a member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and has completed the Leadership Cherokee Program.
