Adam was fantastic! Truly knows the area and the business. He fully went to bat for us in both the sale of our old and the purchase of our new home! Highly knowledgeable on the area, other comps and the process. Our purchase was a new build and it was not an easy process. But Adam was attentive and extremely helpful.

Adam has been a great partner to us as we sold our home and searched for a new one. Adam Shively was originally recommended to us by a lender and we have both bought and sold a house with him. We have also worked with nearly a dozen other real estate agents in the past 10 years or so. Adam is definitely one of the best we've worked with and would enjoy the opportunity to work with him again.He is knowledgeable, transparent, responsive, and he was able to diligently work through situations that required outside the box thinking. My wife and I started working with Adam in February 2014. He helped us look for houses in the Charles Town and Shepherdstown areas. We looked at many hours over an 8-month period, and Adam never pushed us. I always felt like he was very open and honest about each neighborhood and each house. Finally we found a house close to our daughter, and Adam was very helpful and responsive during the closing process.

We bought a townhouse in New Market. Adam was very knowledgeable about the area. Adam was spot on when he told us what our house would appraise for and was very honest throughout the whole process. Not only did he know the real estate in the area, but knew of local businesses, parks, and activities that are in the area.

Adam was able to inform us of the process and was spot on in how everything went down. It was very nice going into closing already knowing what to expect. He was also very willing to answer any questions and was available by either email or phone. If we left a message for him, he was very quick to respond or call us back. Adam was very flexible with looking at houses and met with us whenever we were available. He also had the route all planed out to make looking at the houses very efficient.

We were told by a lot of people that the house buying process could be a frustrating and hard process. Adam made it very smooth and took care of everything. He also kept us informed of where are loan was and how much longer until closing. I should also note we were planning a wedding and got married during the same time we were looking for a house.

Adam is very good with negotiating and made us feel like he had our back the entire time. We looked at multiple houses and even put an offer on a house before we bought our house. After the inspection we saw that there were things wrong that the bank said were fixed. Adam had them get their contractor in to fix everything that they said was fixed and when they said they did and lied about a few things, Adam did not let them get away with it without letting them know how we felt. That made us feel real comfortable and it proved that he had our back.

In all we were very happy with Adam, and his assistant Lacy. Adam also refereed us to Byron Reed with Integrity Mortgage who was also amazing. In all everyone That Adam works with was amazing. We had a great experience buying our house and when we are ready to sell and buy something else we will definitely use Adam and Byron again!!

YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER REALTOR THAN ADAM. HE IS VERY QUICK TO RESPOND NO MATTER WHAT TIME OR DAY. LISTED MY HOUSE AND HAD AN OFFER ON 4TH DAY AFTER IT WAS LISTED, THEN WE WERE IN A CRUNCH TO FIND A NEW HOUSE FOR ME AND WITHIN 1 WEEK FOUND A HOUSE IN WHICH I PURCHASED. THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS HE BECAME A FRIEND AND EVEN AFTER ALL SALES HE HAS FOLLOWED UP " JUST TO CHECK IN". I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADAM TO ANYONE LOOKING TO SELL OR PURCHASE A NEW HOME.
