The broker helped draft a 10-month lease in separate addendum, despite the HOA’s rule requiring a minimum one-year term, something I only discovered later.There were aspects of her conduct that I found unprofessional:Lack of integrity, knowingly assisted in bypassing community rules to benefit the landlord.Failure to comply with regulations, As a licensed agent, she had a duty to ensure that lease terms align with HOA requirements. she should have disclosed potential risks and helped ensure a fair, compliant agreement. She was the one who brought up helping me with the lease renewal, and after I sent her just three texts and made one phone call, the landlord told me not to bother her…… I don’t know what went on behind the scenes. Now I’m left searching for housing during graduation season, under unnecessary pressure and very little time. A situation that could have been avoided with a standard, compliant lease.
