Darlene King-Jennings (maiden name King) is a graduate of Northfield Mount Herman School as 4 years student in 1976
Keene State College with BS in Sociology 1981
and Business College credit towards Master & Real Estate professional classes
She joined the family business in 1978 as a sales person while in college as King Realty's second generation of the King family . Darlene stayed with the family business quickly becoming a Broker around the time she finished her BS degree in Sociology from Keene State . She and her late husband Jonathan Jennings settled in Campton to raise their two children, son Austin D Jennings , who is now the 3rd Generation of the King family to join the business and daughter Hallie S. Jennings, , RN now a charge nurse at The Elliot in Manchester . In 2001 , Darlene took over the ownership and management of King Realty when her father , Roger passed and her mother then immobilized by strokes passed the business onto the next generation however she had long been managing it for many years by that time .
As of 2018 , she will have served the Pemi Baker River Valley and the gateway to NH's White Mountain Region for 40 years as an agent then broker in the Real estate business. King Realty is the oldest agency in the area and the only family owned and operated one having opened our doors in 1962 . We know our area best and we have been doing it for a long time , treating our clients with the best service and our customers with honesty and integrity . Darlene can boasts she having sold to 3 generations of many families over the years that have started with Grandma and Grandpa and then their children and now their children's children and just like that King Realty started with Roger and Roberta King and passed down to Darlene who someday (but not too soon) will pass it down to Austin (as Hallie is kicking in health care ). We look forward to serving generations of your family too.
