ABOUT RANDEE

Education:
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree along with a California Teaching Credential from California Polytechnic University-Pomona, Ca. In 1976 I received my California Real Estate License.

Professional Experience:
From 1976 to 1984 I was a seventh and eighth grade teacher at Suzanne Intermediate School in Walnut, Ca. I also coached several sports each year during this time.

From 1985 to 1991 Barrie and I started our own real estate company in Encinitas called Westar Properties in 1985. Then in 1990 Barrie and I went to work for Sun Harbor Real Estate. I had a successful history in primarily residential real estate.

From 1991 to 1998 I moved into medical sales as a Medical Sales Representative, to spend more time with my children because it was part-time and more flexible. I managed the North San Diego County Coastal territory and promoted both OTC and RX medications.

From 1984 to the present, I have directed and controlled activities for our clients with investment properties and or businesses. I collect rent, pay bills and arrange all maintenance.

From January of 1999 to the present, I made an enthusiastic jump back into the real estate business.

Personal Activities:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, especially when we go to the Colorado River. Some of our best memories have been on these trips.


ABOUT BARRIE

Background:
From my hometown of Houston, Texas, I came to San Diego in 1968 for Marine Corps boot camp. I honorable discharged after four years of service, including a year-long tour of Viet Nam. I earned a real estate license in 1976 followed by a broker's license in 1980.

Education:
I received an A.S. degree from Citrus College in Azusa, Ca in 1974. Additionally, I completed two years at California State University-Long Beach.

Professional Experience:
In 1976 my career in real estate began with my affiliation with Star Real Estate in Orange County. I moved to North County in 1985 and started Westar Properties, my own brokerage. My professional emphasis is residential sales and investment properties including shopping centers and apartments. I affiliated with Coldwell Banker in 1994 in order to offer clients state of the art services and world-wide marketing.

Personal Activities:
I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors; camping, fishing and water-skiing are some of our favorite activities.
