Every summer, Ben anticipated his family's annual vacation to North Carolina with such excitement it was the highlight of each year. Hiking, camping, fishing and exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains and Outer Banks crystallized his love for nature and the region. Ben's whole family now resides in NC where his mother's ancestors have lived for generations.

Growing up in Alexandria, Virginia, with Washington D.C. only a bike ride away, he was exposed to a melting pot of cultures, ideas and people. The museums, memorials, institutions and events Ben experienced left an indelible impression on him. He became passionate about art and music, playing piano, drums and percussion, participating in community-theater, and studying art, at the age of eight.

When he decided to seek a degree in music, Ben could think of no other city than Asheville that offered the opportunities and possibilities he was looking for. Ben collaborates with local and regional artists, touring in cities from Louisiana to Maine. He has played notable shows in New Orleans, Nashville, New York City, and at The White House. With years of experience networking and promoting musical projects and performances, Ben sees real estate and music as the perfect blend. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a Jazz Performance degree, he immediately set out to become a Realtor.

Ben served as the Marketing Director at Town and Mountain Realty before becoming an agent, which provided him with an advantage. Utilizing his design skills and expertise in communication and promotion, he became versed in advertising and gained valuable knowledge about the dynamics of the business. Ben's interest in real estate stems from his family's long involvement with vacation rentals and the renovation of historic homes.

Having lived in North Asheville for years, Ben knows the city, the surrounding towns and mountains. He loves Asheville because of the abundant outdoor activities, diverse culture of musicians and artists, the rich history and giving community. Ben thrives off of meeting new people and learning about their lives. He uses thoughtful research and insight to help friends make smart moves.
