I moved to Wilmington 34 years ago where I fell in love with the area. Growing up, I was always involved with extra-curricular activities through school and church. I have a background in both management and sales and know what it takes to meet the challenges that come along with buying and selling your home. My current hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling, and watching college and professional sports. We worked with Bill Somers for four years anticipating relocation from the north. During that time he kept us informed about the available real estate market. We knew we wanted to purchase a home on Oak Island for years, but financially were not ready. Bill was recommended to us by a mutual friend to help us just get started looking. We emailed back and forth while living in the Charlotte area, and decided which properties we were interested in seeing on our next trip to the area. When we decided to come to OI we would notify Bill of our arrival date and he would make appointments for us the see all of the properties we had chosen, come and pick us up and drive us all over the island. He was so patient...we did this for about two years before we found exactly what we were looking for! We have already recommended him to several friends looking to relocate to paradice!

We were new to the area and Bill helped us find our new home in Brunswick County, NC. Bill was always on time, patient and very knowledgeable. After Bill showed us several homes within our price range and location we fell in love with a home that was a short sale. Bill Somers has been very helpful in my quest of finding a house in Wilmington. He keeps me informed of any new listings that becomes available, and is always ready and willing to schedule showings and work with me in any way he can - not always easy since I live three hours away. When I email him, I can expect a prompt and helpful response. I haven't been able to make an offer on a home, so I cannot rate his negotiation skills.
