In December of 2019 Brad decided to create Van Amberg Realty. Brad wanted to be in a position that he would be able to do more networking with out-of-state Realtors and offer them a higher referral for migrating northerners. If you are local and thinking of selling you might want to ask Brad about his "Home Owner Fee Assistance Program".
Brad attended evening classes at Fairleigh-Dickinson University in NJ while working in NYC for R.W. Pressprich, a Wall St. Stock Exchange member. After graduating with a B.S. in Accounting he joined Haskins & Sells, a "Big 8" CPA firm now known as Deloitte.
In 1978 he obtained his first real estate license while working as a Corporate Controller. Nearly twenty years later he would transition from Corporate Controller and part-time Realtor into Real Estate.
In 1998 he joined Carteret Mortgage as a Branch Manager and was later promoted to Vice-President. He remained in that role until the banking industry collapse starting in 2006. In that same year Brad and his wife Beth moved to Wilmington to be near the beach and to transition back into real estate.
