I began my career as a realtor on Sanibel and Captiva in 1982. I was managing a resort on West Gulf Dr. on Sanibel and the resort included a condominium complex, this drew me into the real estate sales. I earned my designation as a past president of the Sanibel-Captiva Board of Realtors by serving as president in 2013. I have been elected to a third term as a Fire Commissioner for the Sanibel Fire and Rescue District. My term as president of the Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club for 2015 has just been completed. RE/MAX awards 5 Above the Crowd award for Florida each year. It is to recognize those who are deeply involved in their communities. I was very surprised and honored when one of these awards was presented to me for 2014.

My wife and I have made Sanibel our home for almost 40 years. We currently share our home with Sanabella, a 12 lb. Morkie. We are boaters, tennis players and occasional golfers. My wife is very active in fund raising for the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation.
