I like to garden, and walk in the woods. I enjoy reading motivational, inspirational, educational material, always looking to learn something new. I love music of all kinds -- a favorite is bluegrass. I also play the ukulele. I am at home in the kitchen and "famous" for my spinach casserole. On weekends I love going camping, often at motocross races watching my son race; or attending one of the many festivals offered right here in Maine. I am a seamstress and quilter. I have made custom curtains and clothing, done upholstery work, and just about any type of sewing project. I have been involved in the house building trade most of my life. I have been carpenter's helper on many projects, where I learned to do sheetrock taping and finishing of both sheetrock and wood. I have helped many customers personalize the look of their homes with plaster finishing, tile work, painting, wall papering, etc. My knowledge and experience would enable me to assist you in recognizing what could be done to your home to increase its appeal to potential buyers, whether that means a little spruce-up or suggestions with the staging of your home for sale. My expertise would also be valuable to you as a buyer, since I have the ability and experience to assess the potential of a property with your needs in mind. I have first-hand experience and contacts to provide good cost estimates. I would be happy to discuss your needs with you at any time.
