My name is Donald Byrd, and I’ve been in the real estate business for over 31 years and have been a broker since 1991. My desire to help people buy and sell made me join the real estate industry. I pride myself on being a dedicated and knowledgeable professional who strives to provide exceptional service to my clients. I recently started my own firm, Red Rock Realty. 

 I was born in Johnston County and lived there my entire life. As a lifelong resident of this beautiful county, I sincerely appreciate each neighborhood's unique character and charm. I love working with buyers to help them find the perfect home in the area that best fits their needs and lifestyle. 

 I’m active in the Johnston County's Association of Realtors. Due to my extensive experience and dedication, I served as President for three different terms and in various leadership roles. In addition to being an involved realtor, I’m also a family man. I enjoy spending time with my family and my golden retriever, Maggie. My wife is a retired employee of Johnston County Schools, and my two children are products of our school system. My daughter, Leslie, is a Nurse Practitioner at a family practice. My son, Don, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business and Economics. 

 I am passionate about ensuring that I give my clients extensive and correct information about everything there is to know about the real estate market. My attention to detail and strong negotiating skills have resulted in many successful transactions and satisfied clients.  

 When not working or spending time with my loved ones, I enjoy farming, mainly growing hay.
