Eileen was our realtor for the sale of our first home and the purchase of our second home and we couldn't have imagined a more kind, patient and knowledgeable realtor to guide us during this process. She is an excellent listener; she took an immense amount of time to fully hear our thoughts, concerns, and aspirations. Combined with her vast experience in the industry, this led to her knowing how to strongly advocate on our behalf. We are ultimately so very happy with both our sale and our purchase, but we are going to miss her! She is a gem!

When a family member unexpectedly moved out of the other unit in our 2-family house in Cranford, I was suddenly faced with the need to find a tenant immediately. I was ignorant of the process, and upset that I needed strangers to move into the same house I lived in.Eileen was a godsend. She acted quickly, calmed my nerves and hand-held me through every single step of the process. She proved her masterful expertise, local knowledge and responsiveness by getting us a signed lease within 2 weeks! As for her negotiation skills, Eileen was the agent for both the tenants and for us (owners). Amazingly, she managed to make us all feel like we had a win-win situation, and the tenants are, happily, still here.I recommend Eileen to anyone I know who is looking to buy or sell a house, and would certainly use her myself should the time come for me to sell.

Eileen Burlinson was our agent when we went through a difficult buy and sell contingency process. Eileen was incredible through this complex time. She was able to secure an offer for our home after only 4 days on the market and navigated us through a tricky tax issue with our town. Her expertise, honesty and persistence could not be surpassed. We love Eileen! She recently helped us complete the purchase of our new home and the sale of our prior home. With the new purchase, I think what we liked the most was how well she counseled us and represented our interests in the transaction. She really took the time to understand what was important to us and used that information to guide us during the various decision points. She cultivated strong relationships with the various players (of which there are many) which led to decisions being made more quickly and activities progressing at a more rapid pace than they might have. In particular, I appreciated her willingness to listen and talk through what we were considering. She was a great sounding board; with her many years of experience, she was able to give us advice on what she had seen work well in the past and what might not have been productive. And she’s so well-connected and respected by folks in related businesses that when we need a service or a contractor – she had multiple options for us to consider. And all of them worked out beautifully.But where her skills and value were really highlighted was in the sale of our old home. We had met with her about two years prior to when we actually put the house on the market. She did a walk through with us and outlined the key things we needed to do to get the best possible sale price for our house. It’s always tough to hear critical feedback and realize you need to spend the money to make improvements – but Eileen’s advice was spot on and she gave it very graciously. That time and money we invested paid off in being able to set a competitive sales price in what ended up being a fairly busy market at the time. We also used her recommendations regarding staging and what time of year to put our house on the market. Eileen really took the time to invest in the details and gave us thorough advice on how best to position our home in the market. Her stager and photographer were incredibly professional and talented. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous our house looked – I almost didn’t want to move!It was unbelievable how well the improvements and staging paid off. Our home was only on the market for 24 hours before we got the offer we ultimately accepted. And don’t get me wrong – it wasn’t without hard work and patience and courage that we got through it. But Eileen was there, every step of the way, giving us advice on where we might want to be more aggressive, where we needed to compromise. But always listening. I highly recommend her as an incredibly professional, kind, and patient real estate agent who truly has your best interest in mind. I found Eileen because she sold many homes in my area and I approached her to sell ours. She came to our home gave us a few Very good tips which we accomplished immediately. We it our house on the market and within a day we had multiple offers. More than I thought we would get. We went with the first buyer and all worked out very well. Eileen was competent, efficient and very personable. I would highly recommend her as an agent.

If you want to sell your house, Eileen Burlinson is the best and only real estate professional to get the job done. Eileen was introduced to us by our attorney after a private sale fell through. We were already living in our new home in NC and needed to sell our house in NJ quickly. The day after our private sale fell through we signed a sales agreement with Eileen to sell our house. Within less than 2 weeks we had 6 qualified offers all above our asking price. We closed in December 2020. Why Eileen? She is experienced in North Plainfield market. She has access to large Coldwell Banker network plus multiple listing. Eileen is steady and unemotional yet pleasant in handling objections or concerns and she is a terrific negotiator.
