Gary E. Tanner serves the residential needs of clients in Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Carthage, Seven Lakes, North Carolina and surrounding areas, and is a member of the Pinehurst/ Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Tanner is a 18-year resident of Pinehurst. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and the University of Dayton, where he majored in education and business. He earned certification in home inspection from the Hondros Real Estate School in Dayton, Ohio.

Prior to real estate, Tanner worked in the field of insurance claims as an independent and public adjuster. Gary’s experience spans 44 years of helping people negotiate complicated Insurance contract provisions.

 He worked with Homeowners, large and small, businesses and corporations. He also worked as a catastrophe adjuster for 18 years, handling hurricane and flood losses nationwide.
