Having lived direct oceanfront in Melbourne Beach for almost 40 years, it was a bitter-sweet decision to put my beloved home up for sale. But the time had come, and I had to move on. I wanted 3 things to happen, and amazingly I got my wish. Firstly, Although I am a real estate broker myself, I wanted an experienced, results orientated professional to handle the sale for me. No games, gimmicks, or pie in the sky promises, just the results I was after. Gibbs delivered. Secondly, I wanted a top dollar, all cash, fast closing transaction, from start to finish. Our experience with Gibbs (and Greg) was nothing shy of fantastic. We were unfamiliar with the area having just moved from out of state. We were originally going to rent and build, however their were a few houses for sale I found online that we wanted to see. After listening to our comments and watching our reactions he had brought us to a few more he thought we might like. He educated us about buying an ocean front house without sugarcoating the reality of the maintenance costs. When you allow him to be, Gibbs can be an out of budget and get what we wanted. Because we are hours away and I could not be there, Gibbs was there to let in everyone involved when buying a home (inspectors, contractors, surveyors). There were a few hiccups, like the air conditioner breaking the day we closed, but true to form, he called up the seller and it was taken care of. Call this guy for any of your Real estate needs! Gibbs Baum can make any deal happen. I contacted him by chance after seeing his name and number pn a few other properties in my area of Melbourne Beach. I had a previous broker for months with under 10 showings, not one offer. After contacting Gibbs,he came and saw the condo personally, had a professional photographer take photos the next day. After listing it,I was in contract in 12 hours FOR ASKING, with 2 backup offers FOR ASKING within 48 hours,true story. His marketing skills are like no other. They are other brokers that will list your property, show your property, but if you want to SELL your property, Gibbs Baum is the way to go.

Gibbs was great from beginning to end. I appreciate his knowledge of the RE market, RE laws and contracting. Gibbs remained diplomatic and attentive throughout the entire process. When we hit some snags he was able to negotiate a resolution with all the other parties. This deal never would have closed had it not been his intervention.
