My wife and I had met Jay a few times at local open houses and found him to be very friendly as well as knowledgeable about the real estate market in the area, so, when it came time for us to sell our house, we contacted him. Jay sat down with us and walked us through all the steps that we needed to take and addressed any concerns that we might have had and explained how things would proceed. He seems genuinely caring with regard to his clients. He always returned our calls promptly and made time to meet face to face if we felt we needed it. We feel fortunate to have had Jay as our realtor and would certainly recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy or sell a house.

Jay was very professional and went above and beyond to get my property sold. He was very organized and kept me informed on any offers that were made on the property. My wife and I first worked with Jay on a project nearly 2 decades ago. At that time, I committed to work with him again, if we got the opportunity. And we did. In early 2018 we knew we'd be selling our house in a year +/-, so I called Jay. We had more than a full year to seek his advice and counsel on how to improve the appearance, marketability and selling price of the house. (He also gave us a lot of great advice with respect to the replacement house that we were having built for us.) We implemented many of his suggestions, and the results speak for themselves. We sold our house for an "over asking" price to the 1st person who made an offer at the 1st open house, 2 days after the listing went live. The sale closed last week with no major hitches along the way. We feel very fortunate to have had Jay leading the process, and recommend him and his team to other potential sellers in the greater Amesbury/Newburyport area.

Back in 2010 my husband and I attended an open house where we met Jay. That property wasn't the one for us, but we started chatting with Jay and he told us to meet him later that day to show us some homes he thought were more what we were looking for. He nailed what we were looking for on the head within the few minutes we spoke! We purchased our first home in January 2010 and just recently out grew it. We reached back out to Jay knowing he could help us find our new forever home. Once we found the perfect home, Jay helped us negotiate a price that we were comfortable with. He also took the time to explain to the seller/listing agent why our offer was fair. His knowledge of the area and professionalism made everything come together and within a few weeks we were closed! Jay worked to sell the home of my mother. He showed her the greatest respect and kindness while, at the same time, working with the me to prepare the home for the best showing and sale. Jay provided me with recommendations to prepare the home as well as explaining what we could expect during the selling process. I was impressed with the ease of the process and sale of the home.
