Recently I was in a position to sell my home of 33+ years. A close friend referred me to Jen as they had worked with Jen to sell their home as well. I was not ready to sell the house at the time, but Jen came by and we discussed what I may or may not want to do to the house, provide comp data, etc. I decided to perform updates to the house and told Jen I would let her know when I was ready to move forward. Jen stayed continually engaged with me sending me listings in the area so we could continue to monitor the market. When the time came to finally list after about 2 months, she continued to stay with me every step of the way via text, phone, in person any time day/night/weekend. We listed the house on a Thursday, had one offer after the first showing the next day, and more on the weekend. The house was under contract in 3 days and we closed in 29 days. I was amazed at how quickly the process progressed. Jen was not only my agent but she provided advice and kind support as this was a difficult process personally to go through leaving my house after such a long time. She knows the market and it certainly was invaluable to getting the house marketed and sold. I cannot say enough how seamless she made this experience and I would absolutely contact her if I was interested in buying or selling again!

Jen has excellent knowledge of the real estate industry, and has an 'in' of who to call when further services are needed. It was great working with a woman owned business, who has many years of experience representing a range of purchasers and sellers.

As a first time home buyer, Jen was truly an outstanding realtor. We weren't familiar with the area as we lived in Old Town, Chicago our entire time in Chicago. She took the time to truly get to know us and actively searched for homes that would fit our style. Once we were ready to start seeing homes, she quickly setup appointments at our convenience. Jen was great at guiding us through the process. She quickly responded to any random question or concern. She really listened to our wants and needs in order to find us the ideal home for us.Another huge positive was how well she knew the western suburbs. I felt like we couldn't drive down the street without someone giving her a friendly wave or her giving letting us know about things like The Elmhurst Neighbors and Newcomers Club. Also, she has a long list of great referrals for lawyers, inspectors, bankers, contractors, and painters. Overall I couldn’t be happier with our new home and the service Jen provided. She routinely kept us notified when inspections were due and when paperwork needed to be completed. She really made the home searching process fun and gave us confidence in buying our first home. She has our business for life and would gladly recommend her to anyone!

It was a pleasure working with Jen Coyte. She was patient and accommodating when I asked for a few delays in putting my house on the market. After my house was on the market, she worked with the buyers to get very close to my asking price. Jen is kind, helpful and isn’t just looking to make the sale. She is a the type of realtor who builds a lifelong personal relationship.

Jen helped us find our perfect first home and I couldn't be more appreciative or impressed!! I started talking with Jen while still living out-of-state, and she went above and beyond to work with me while showing houses in-person to my mom and sister. Jen was very straightforward when discussing housing options and was genuine in her desire to help me and my husband. When we came into town to evaluate our first serious option, Jen had lined up several options so as to maximize our time together-- hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Once we were back in town, she continued to help us both look and negotiate aggressively. She was able to help us secure our perfect house within two weeks of being back in the area. Even after securing our house, Jen has been so helpful in helping us connect to our new community and in recommending professionals to help us customize our home. Jen embraced our family dynamic and worked with us to help us find and customize the perfect home for us. We feel so lucky to have connected with Jen and cannot recommend her enough!!

Jen helped us buy and sell our house. She is very knowledgeable about the market. She did a great job negotiating when we got into a multiple bid situation, and helped get us our dream home! During the selling process, she was very committed to showing the house & spent several weekends hosting open houses.

Review for Jen Coyte (Coyte Advantage Realty)Rating: (1/5 Stars)I am writing this review to warn other homeowners and sellers about the highly unprofessional, and unethical business practices of Jen Coyte.My experience with her as a buyer's agent on my property at 25616 W Lake Shore Dr in Ingleside, IL was nothing short of a nightmare. Her behavior caused my anxiety disorder to skyrocket and ultimately sabotaged the entire transaction at the closing table.Here is exactly how she operates:* Unethical Solicitation ("Sign Crossing"): While my home was actively listed with my own realtor, Ms. Coyte used a showing appointment to pitch me directly. She handed me an eyeglass cleaning kit with her contact info and explicitly told me she could get me a better deal if I ditched my current realtor and went with her instead.* Harassment & Bullying: After her buyer put in a low offer that we accepted at $305,000--explicitly "As-Is" with no inspections --the harassment began. Ms. Coyte repeatedly and aggressively demanded entry into my home for unauthorized "showings" for the buyer's friends and family. When my listing agent set professional boundaries, Ms. Coyte responded with completely unprofessional remarks like, "Ugh--all about you and your clients," and tried to force her way in for extended, uncontracted walkthroughs while demanding I vacate my own home.* Hostile & Disruptive Behavior: On the morning of the final walkthrough, she and her clients ignored explicit instructions not to arrive before 8:00 AM, showing up at 7:30 AM instead. Ms. Coyte completely failed to manage her clients. The buyer's father became intensely hostile, screaming and yelling threats in front of my house and on the public street, forcing me to order him to his car while Ms. Coyte dismissively brushed it off.* Property Tampering & Extortion Tactics: During the final walkthrough, Ms. Coyte stepped completely outside her role. She went into my detached garage and intentionally pulled internal wiring on my furnace and manipulated my appliances to artificially manufacture "defects" on a property sold strictly As-Is.* The $80,000 price reduction demand Upon arriving at the title office to sign the final paperwork, Ms. Coyte used her manufactured property tampering to hold the closing hostage. She stated her buyer would not sign unless I immediately slashed the price by an additional $80,000. Because I refused to give in to this blatant extortion, the deal collapsed, completely disrupting my own contingent housing plans.Jen Coyte acted as a manipulative bully who uses deception, intimidation, and bad-faith negotiation tactics to exploit home sellers. I am actively filing formal complaints with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the local board of REALTORS®.Sellers beware: Do not let this agent into your home, and do not trust her to conduct business with honesty or integrity. I have all text messages and emails from this fiasco. The buyer's refusal to sign the release locks up the earnest money and leaves my property's legal status in limbo.

Jen is great very quick to show property’s and find me properties. Sold my property in a week !!Found me the perfect place to start my second half of life . She is one of the best realtors I have met here in elmhurst . Easy to talk to fun very caring to my family’s needs in a house . Thank you very much
