I received my real estate license in 1993, although I made my first real estate sale when I was in the 8th grade! I am devoted to the real estate profession and have assisted many Buyers and Sellers with their properties. I work with residential, lot, acreage, and commercial transactions, as well as property management. No transaction is too small nor too large for us to handle!

A truly diverse background brings Shelly Fisher to the Jones & Carter Real Estate family! Prior to becoming a real estate professional, Shelly was an elementary school teacher, principal, sales trainer and property investment partner.
As a former elementary school teacher and principal, providing exceptional, caring, informed and responsive service to students, teachers and families was a daily practice for Shelly. She set some amazing goals for her students and helped them to achieve those goals by working hard and dedicating her time to the community.
While on summer vacation, Shelly accepted a job at a call center promoting corporate bids and state contracts for a printer company. Two weeks later, she was asked to teach incoming employees how to effectively build relationships and help corporate partners to grow their Fortune 500 businesses. How did Shelly do that? She set high standards for honesty, product integrity and genuine concern for clients as non-negotiable, key components for every transaction and communication.
When Shelly wasn't teaching, leading a campus, or spending her summer helping businesses to grow their earning potential, she partnered in residential property investment. As a co-buyer, co-seller, and co-manager, Shelly acquired first-hand knowledge of the residential real estate market and she is eager to share her experiences with you.
Shelly Fisher has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Texas State University. She acquired her Texas Real Estate Sales Agent License from the University of Texas’ Center for Professional Education.

Donna was my realtor when I bought my first home a year and a half ago. She was amazing at answering the millions of questions I had as well as keeping me calm when I would start worrying about things I need not worry about. As a single, 28 year old, first time home buyer I definitely had A LOT of questions and fears. She always explained everything fully and in terms I could understand. I even used Donna outside of her local area (I bought a house in Kyle, Texas) and she definitely proved that she was perfect for the job! Her knowledge of the Jonestown and Lago Vista area (literally, every nook and cranny!) was impressive, but in the end I decided I wanted to be in the Kyle area.
She was always fast to respond, which I greatly appreciated and she was great when negotiating in getting the "little things" that were found in the inspection fixed as well as working with the final purchase price. I can't imagine having an easier time buying a house and I will definitely be calling Donna when I want to sell my current home and buy the next! -

Donna Jo was attentive to what we were looking for in a home, and she made every effort to get us the best deal. She was diligent in working with us through the whole process and really listened to our cares/concerns. I will definitely use her again when it's time to sell our home and buy a new one.

When my husband and I were looking for rental property in Jonestown, we asked my brother and sister-in-law to recommend a realtor. They immediately recommended Donna Jo. We could not have been happier with the choice. We have dealt with some less than professional realtors in the area and to finally meet and work with a pro like Donna Jo was a pleasure. Not only is she a warm and charming woman, she is knowledgable, experienced, and knows the area like the hometown girl that she is. There is no doubt that Donna Jo has her client's back. She listened carefully to what we wanted, offered very helpful advice, spent time showing us options and expertly guided us through the whole process. We will definitely go to her again if and when we decide to buy more property.

She clearly has a lot of industry experience and brought a lot to the table. She was very honest in her concerns about all of the properties we looked at, and she truly helped us find the best fit for our family of all of the choices available. We would definitely work with Donna Jo again. She was very accomodating to our schedule, as we had a small baby at the time and often had to make things quick, in the evening, or even on weekends.

Donna Jo is a wonderful agent. We are moving from WI to TX, and she skillfully cheerfully assisted us with the process of purchasing our home in Jonestown. We have purchased a number of homes during our lifetime and she is by far the BEST agent. She was always there for us, getting the best deal for us, and making certain everything was completed. We also learned a lot about the area from Donna Jo, which has made us even more excited about living in Jonestown.

She was very helpful when it came to negotiating with the home builder getting extra consessions included to the home at no additional price. She always kept in touch with us throughtout the entire building process. She stayed on the builders representative to make sure he kept both she and us informed on the status of the building and the future dates that needed our attention. If we had to leave a message, she was prompt reply to our needs. I would suggest that she is a very consumer friendly. We truely felt like she had our best interests in mind.
