About Judy McGuire

My husband Chip and I have lived in the Wilmington, NC area for more than 20 years.  We raised our two sons in the schools here. Being involved in the community has always been important to me and after receiving my Master Gardener Certificate in 1997, my friend Jane and I created the Children’s Garden at New Hanover County Arboretum, where I designed the cottage in the garden.  I served on the Heart Ball for several years, volunteered in OPSU at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and served on the Medical Auxiliary Board.

Because I have a long standing interest in real estate, am very familiar with our community and very much enjoy helping people, becoming a broker seemed like a logical choice. I was excited to take the training required and receive my license.  I chose Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage because of their impeccable reputation and because of the incredible supportive atmosphere in the company.

I am a very active agent in the Wilmington area market, and after receiving my license I have continued to invest time and money into training I knew would be beneficial to my client's real esate needs.  I now have my CNE, Certified Negotiation Expert certification, as well as SLS, Strategic Listing and SPS, Strategic Pricing Specialist designations.

I know what it is like to relocate, and I love to help those families new to the Cape Fear region.  I have first-hand experience with new construction, as I designed and worked closely with the builders of our family’s custom home here in Wilmington. Because of my involvement in the community, I know the schools, the neighborhoods and the people.  I hope you will consider me for your real estate needs.
