My husband had an interview in Seattle and we were both pretty confident that he would get the job. We got a referral for a realtor and Laurie Strickland contacted us right away to discuss purchasing a house in the area. We told her that we wanted to live south of Seattle and near the commuter train. I gave her a list of “must haves” and she went to work. On our list was at least 1 acre, minimum of 2,000 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms was ideal but we could work with 3 and an office space, must have a nice yard for our dogs, a workshop for my husband, and it could not be in a busy area. She went to work and found a bunch of houses for us to look at over the internet. We narrowed it down to a handful.

In April, we flew out to Seattle. My husband had his job interview on Thursday and we spent Friday and Saturday looking at houses. We found a couple that we really liked. On Saturday evening, while at dinner I told my husband that I would like to see a couple more houses and the idea to stay a couple extra days came up. I called Laurie and asked if she had some time on Monday. She rearranged her schedule just to take me out to look at houses. I was very impressed that she rearranged her whole day on short notice to take me out looking at houses.

When I arrived back home, I completed everything to put our house in New Hampshire on the market. My husband moved out here in May to start his new job. While he was out here, all the houses we really liked had gone under contract. Laurie and my husband continued to look at other houses in person while I looked at them online. In the middle of July, Laurie told me she found a house that we would love. My husband saw the house and loved it. I flew out a few days later to look at it. Laurie once again went above and beyond to help us. She picked me up at the airport and drove me to the house. I loved it! She found us the perfect house! That evening, we put an offer on it. The offer was accepted and we began planning the move.

Laurie spent countless hours searching houses, working with us, and making our dreams come true! I cannot Thank her enough for the time and effort she put in to help our cross country move become a success. As a person, Laurie was a pleasure to work with! Easy to talk to, a good listener, easy to contact, and always prompt at returning our calls or answering our questions. Best of all, Laurie is a Realtor who makes it her job to help you meet YOUR GOALS rather than her own!

This is my third time working with Laurie Strickland and she has worked well for me on all projects. She is quick to respond to all questions and inquiries. On this last project she both found me a beautiful home but also was a very big help in selling my home at the same time. She took on a lot of the stress for me and helped with suggestions and setting up appointments to get my home ready for sale. I wish I could give her more then 5 stars, she earned everyone.

Laurie was truly the best realtor we could have asked for. She would call us after she would see a house that came up in our price range in the area we wanted and make sure that we got in that day to see the property willing to go anytime of the day. She made sure we saw each house and knew exactly what we wanted when we truly didn't know ourselves. She is quick to negotiate and always has her clients feel like they are her number one priority at all times. My family has used Laurie 6 times in the last 3 years as our realtor to buy or sell and home and I swear each time she out does herself and surprises us with her knowledge/ professionalism. If your'e looking for a all around amazing realtor Laurie truly is the one!

Laurie is an amazing person! She helped us buy our new home and sell our old one. I think the best compliment you can give an agent, is a referral to a family member, and we did just that! Because Laurie made you feel more like a friend than just a client, return all phone calls promptly (and we all know how uncommon that is!), and just how much she cared that you found just the right home and was able to help us sell ours and made it all as pain free as possible :) These are the just a FEW of the reasons I recommended her to my mom! Laurie is the best and she will make sure you feel well taken care of!

We have worked with Laurie for years. She is extremely responsive and works with our crazy schedules and requests.I would recommend her to any of my family or friends, in fact she helped my dad find and buy a house!
