Defined by leadership, organizational skills, professionalism and a love for helping people with problem solving, Maria joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, N.E. Prime Properties as a REALTOR® in early 2014. Her years of experience in consulting, coaching, situation analysis and ability to efficiently define and implement strategies have served her well in this new career. Maria has been successful in selling residential, commercial and unique historical properties.

A veteran of the computer high tech industry, Maria spent part of her career as Operations Manager at Sun Microsystems and Vice President of Operations at both Pixelvision, Inc. and EGS Gauging, Inc. As global Director of Lean Enterprise for Invensys, Maria had the opportunity to learn the Toyota Production System from established Lean educators and authors. She was responsible for training, consulting and coaching numerous companies to achieving Lean Enterprise strategies.

As an independent Lean Transformation Consultant for fifteen years, Maria has coached companies through major process and cultural transformations in various industries, in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Many of the companies she supported are now best in class, showcase facilities.

When not at work, Maria spends her time with her husband and very expansive family. She loves to travel, spends summers on Cape Cod and the Azores. She is fluent in Portuguese.

Maria has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Atlantic Union College. She completed an Executive Leadership Program at Babson College and the Executive Lean Leadership Institute at the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and National Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service (MLS). She has achieved CIPS, GRI and she is a Certified Re-location Agent.
