Nobody knows an area better than a native resident. I am fortunate to have lived in Bel Air, Maryland my entire life, and have been selling Real Estate since 1998.  It's much easier to love selling Real Estate when you love where you live and fortunately I get to experience that every day of my career. I especially enjoy helping clients moving into the area and sharing my wealth of knowledge about the community and surrounding areas.

The majority of my business is based on referrals from past clients and friends so we strive to give our clients the best care and service possible. We know what it takes to get your home "SOLD" and we know the importance of finding you the "PERFECT HOME." Either way, we won't stop until our job is complete and you are 110 % happy and satisfied with our services.

I attribute my success in Real Estate to my passion for helping others! I can't imagine picking up and moving to a strange area and having to trust a complete stranger, but that's what we ask of buyers moving here. Selling Real Estate is the perfect opportunity for meeting new people and having the opportunity to form lasting relationships.

I have obtained the designations of ABR, CRS, GRI. I am a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Association, active in the Harford County Association of Realtors, and a member of both the Maryland Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Voted Harford County's Best Realtor 2019 and Honorable Mention 2020. In my free time, I enjoy spending time boating, Rehoboth Beach, traveling to Texas and Charleston SC to visit our children and grandchildren!  With so many friends retiring we have many new and exciting places to visit this year!!

My husband Mike and I have raised our four children in Bel Air, have attended both public and private schools, have been involved in many local community organizations and watched our communities grow and expand throughout the years. Both of our parents still live in town, and we can't imagine living anywhere else at this point in our lives.

I would welcome the opportunity to help you become a client for life, and to make 2021 the year of new changes for YOU!

Mary Jones is the best! Mary is from the area and really gets to know the person she is working with so she can find the perfect home. I worked with her for a few months and she never gave up on finding the perfect home for me. Mary answered all my questions and was always available. Mary made my first time home buying process smooth and easy. Everything I wanted fixed or asked for we were able to negotiate. My parents used her as their realtor and know I have. I have and will continue to recommend her.

We were looking to down size from our specialty property that a cell tower and very complex contractual agreements with it. Mary went above all expectations and we settled way above our list price with a seamless closing. Then, after loosing several new properties to a bidding war Mary found our new dream home. We couldn’t be more happy and we highly recommend Mary for any challenge property. One word…”Driven”

I cannot recommend Mary Jones enough to serve any of your real estate needs. She was always available particularly because we were traveling while we were in the process of selling our home. Mary found the perfect buyer for our home and went above and beyond with both the staging of our home and all of the subsequent negotiations. Her team and Ryan Jones could not have done a better job for us. We are very grateful.

Mary was extremely patient with us as new home buyers here in Maryland. She was professional and attuned to what we were looking in our new home. She helped keep us on track through consistent and gentle reminders of what our requests were, which was helpful when you are in the midst of a big move across states. We loved working with Mary, she definitely eased the stress and helped us find a beautiful townhome. We would highly recommend Mary's services if you are looking for your forever home.

In the midst of the Global Pandemic, we made the decision to sell our house, hoping for a house that would meet the needs of our 3 boys, 2 dogs and a desire for a beautiful backyard with a pool. We built our house in the back of a new development before it was fully developed. Slowly I was starting to feel like we lived in a fishbowl as the roads and houses went up around us. In searching through homes for sale, I found a house that was unfortunately already under contract. Mary Jones was the Real Estate Agent for the property. With glowing reviews, I took a chance and called Mary’s office. Within a day, Mary called me back. Our first conversation lasted almost an hour. It felt like I was talking with an old friend. Later I learned that our next door neighbor worked with Mary to sell their old house, and they loved working with her.Mary came to our house and made recommendations on staging and cleaning. Once again, if felt like I had known Mary for years. She made us feel so comfortable – like it was the right thing to do – to sell the house we had built only 3 years before. We put our house on the market close to the holidays. Within 2 weeks, we had a full price offer. The selling process was very smooth. Mary’s professionalism and reputation in the market was very clear. The buying agent even leaned on Mary’s expertise. We weren’t sure what to buy, so Mary assisted us in finding a fantastic rental for our family for the short term.At that point, the market had become so hot. So hot that when a house came on the market, you needed an appointment the day the house went on the market. The decision to make an offer could not be drawn out because multiple offers were received on desirable homes within a day. Additionally, available lots were scarce. We also considered a custom home build. Mary professionally guided us away from builders that may have caused problems later, as well as used her reputation and contacts to create opportunities for us.We found a beautiful home through Mary’s connections before it went on the market. We made an offer on the home, and it was accepted. Unfortunately, the home did not appraise, and we were unable to reach an agreement with the sellers. We were heartbroken, but Mary’s attitude and drive made the disappointment easier to bear.At this point, we decided to look outside of Harford County as the value and type of home wasn’t as readily available in Harford County. We continue to seek homes becoming slaves to Zillow and other home-sale websites. Mary continued to be very responsive regardless of the distant location or randomness of the home, she got us an appointment that day. Text, email or phone call – always responsive. She treated us like we were her only clients – even though we knew that was far from the truth. Finally, we found the home of our dreams in Towson. Mary was with us every step of the way. Behind the scenes, she found us a mortgage opportunity with lender closing cost help and a lower interest rate for the jumbo loan we needed. When I would get nervous, I would call Mary, and she would talk me off the ledge. When we finally reached settlement, my 10 year old said that he was sad that we had finally found a house – only because he see Mary anymore. Mary is like a wonderful good friend that is a respected and knowledgeable real estate agent. She gets to know your family – even knowing your dogs' and children’s names. Which is very important to us.Do not be afraid of finding your dream home, especially with Mary and her Team as your agent. We plan to recommend her to all of our friends and family!
