Michael made a decision to become an Austin area Realtor® in the summer of 2001. As a service-oriented extroverted socialite, I really found meeting new people and working to help them with all of their real estate needs quite enjoyable. Michael started his career in real estate primarily representing home buyers. Building upon his experiences, Michael later branched out to provide additional services such as residential leasing services to both landlords and tenants. As a listing agent, Michael even successfully listed and sold a number of area foreclosed homes.
Upon moving into the suburbs east of Austin about 10 years ago, Michael began specializing primarily in the real estate markets just to the east of Austin. It was also around this time that Michael associated himself with another area agent, Mark Sawyer, who taught him an extensive amount of knowledge about land and commercial property. Mark and Michael still work together on a lot of real estate transactions to this day. Michael joins Mark Sawyer at Keller Williams in January of 2014.
In addition to being a Realtor® Michael is an active area musician. He is actively involved in the music ministry of PromiseLand Church, serving in the capacity of horn/orchestra section leader and arranger. Michael also plays trumpet with various bands throughout the area; most prominently appearing with Larry Lange & His Lonely Knights. Michael presently sits on the Board of Directors for his neighborhood homeowners association. -A position he has held since 2006. Michael also regularly volunteers to serve in the capacity of Election Judge for Travis County. Michael and his wife, Stacey and have been married since 2004. She presently works as a case manager for Cempatico Behavioral Health in Austin. They presently own a house out in the growing bedroom community of Manor, and have two labs named Berkley and Lexi.

Michael Prillaman's help was indispensable for finding and buying a home in Austin from out of state on a short notice. He offered advice, contacts and information that helped us time our home search appropriately, get preapproved by a locally-licensed lender, identify the best neighborhoods for our needs, negotiate and resolve issues with the seller. He found us a much better home than we had hoped for in our price range. Michael was very knowledgeable about all parts of Austin and the surrounding suburbs, which made our search a lot more efficient and prevented us from wasting time to see homes that would have resulted in too long of a commute or a neighborhood with undesirable features. Michael was also very familiar with local builders, which increased our options for potential homes by adding unlisted new construction from builders known for good quality. He was always available for a call and worked tirelessly around our schedule until he found a home for us. When the seller/lender created an issue that could have prevented us from closing, Michael immediately researched it for us and spent a significant amount of time to help us figure out our options and come up with a plan of action, ultimately resulting in resolving the issue. He truly is a great guy who takes his clients' best interests to heart every step of the way. Outstanding realtor!

I would like to start the review off with this disclaimer. I have known Michael for 16 years as a friend. Michael Prillaman is the most informed realtor that I have ever worked with. He knows Briarcreek and he knows how to sell it. I was selling my house and at the same time buying a house in Oklahoma, no small feat. The information that he provided me was top notch and he always returned my calls in a timely manner. He went the extra mile to keep me informed and motivated in my house sale. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a top-notch realtor.
