The luckiest people in the world are those who love their work, and that fits Nilsa Ferrer to a "T." She never tires of meeting new people, exploring homes, condominiums and vacant land, searching for just the right property for a client, and overcoming the hurdles that can appear during a real estate transaction. She enjoys the variety that a career in real estate affords and eagerly dives in to learning new skills – whether it's new technology or how best to serve her clients. When not serving clients, Nilsa enjoys traveling, hiking/camping, biking, dancing and spending time with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
A resident of the Cape Coral/ Fort Myers area for 20 years, and a Realtor® since 2004. Nilsa feels fortunate to have raised her daughters with her husband in a city that features a sandy beach and fishing pier on the Caloosahatchee River at the public Yacht Basin & Club. Cape Coral is home to the expansive SunSplash Water Park, more than 30 recreational parks, and several golf courses. Cape Coral offers a variety of Gulf beaches in its immediate neighborhood, such as Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach. The area is known by birding enthusiasts for a wide variety of wildlife and the largest population of burrowing owls in the state of Florida!
Before choosing a career in real estate, Nilsa worked as an Assistant Director in the business office of two hospitals in Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres. Nilsa at that time worked in the business office managing staff, billing, and insurance claims in direct connection with the CEO & CFO. The training she received in accounting, customer service and computer technology made her ready and able to quickly master the financial side of real estate sales, as well as the computer skills today's agents’ must have.
Nilsa enjoys using technology for both; communication, and to expose her listings to home seekers all over the Internet. Throughout her years of experience Nilsa has worked with traditional buyers and sellers. During the financial crisis she learned and worked with ‘bank owned’ properties. While working with the asset managers, she gained an understanding of what they need in order to approve a sale. For her it's just a matter of following procedure, maintaining communications, and being persistent. All combined, these skills makes Nilsa the experienced agent you are looking for.
When you're seeking an agent in Lee and Collier County who will put your goals first, call on Nilsa Ferrer. She’s never too busy for your referrals!
