Nora was instrumental in helping my wife and I find a home we love. She provided direction and suggestions when we initially didn't know what we wanted, and when we had a better idea she helped evaluate and identify properties that matched the criteria we were looking for. As we looked at houses,  Nora continued to agilely change which properties we would potentially look at based on things that she noted during the walkthroughs. When we finally decided on a property, Nora suggested local experts in relevant areas to take care of things like inspections, water testing, and evaluating our chimneys. In addition, we also initially had a loan provider who was providing sub-par service and Nora pointed us in the direction of a lender that worked with us for our situation. Overall I believe that if we had been in another realtors care, we wouldn't have been in as good a situation, and that's why I've recommended her to all my friends and family who have expressed interest in purchasing a house in the area.

Nora handled the sale of our home as well as the purchase of our new home. She was always incredibly responsive no matter when we called. Sometimes we wondered when she slept! She had a very thorough knowledge of all the various markets and players involved. She seemed to know all of the  different real estate agents, title companies, mortgage brokers and movers in Maryland and Pennsylvania. This gave us confidence that we were being handled by a true Pro. She was a pleasure to deal with and made what is often a very stressful and difficult situation enjoyable. We would recommend her to anyone!

Nora came recommended by my girlfriend to assist with listing and selling my townhouse. From initial sit down to closing table, the experience provided was outstanding. I had no experience listing and selling a home, but she was there every step of the way and made logical recommendations when  needed. Even when I was being difficult and had doubts, she always had the right things to say to make my mind at ease. She has such great passion for the industry. Thank you, Nora. Looking forward to working together when we are ready to purchase.

Nora is simply the best. She has a warm and awesome personality and is more than willing to go to bat for you and work the extra mile (or 20) to make sure you have what you want. My fiance and I were entirely new to the process and she responded immediately with an extensive phone call to set up  the first steps of the process and was there and responsive every step of the way. She found us an amazing house and helped to negotiate it to an incredible price along with help from the previous owners. I have already recommended her to several friends looking to purchase in the near future and would recommend her to anyone interested in an incredibly charming and intelligent realtor.

My family recently moved from Burlington, North Carolina, to Westminster, Maryland. It was a difficult to navigate process but we accomplished it with the help of one of this outstanding agent. I just wanted let everyone know what an incredible agent Nora Drury is. I am not a writer, and I know this review won’t truly do justice to her efforts, but the truth is, even if I were a writer it would be quite the task to state the lengths to which she went to put my family in a wonderful home. Nora was absolutely Perfect (with a capital P) for my family. From our very first contact she was the perfect blend of professional and personal. She was not only concerned with collecting the necessary information to get the ball rolling for us, but also made it clear that she wanted to know who we were as a family. She recognized that it wasn’t all dollars and cents; that we were people with needs that went beyond square footage and price points. She was careful to make sure we were realistic with our list of wants and critical in helping us recognize what we couldn’t do without. Upon our first meeting, Nora lived up to the image she created over the phone. She was hard working and truly listened to us. She didn’t waste our time on homes we were never going to like or be able to afford. She didn’t take us any place where the environment didn’t meet our family’s needs. She did everything within her power to meet our needs, often at the expense of her personal time, exerting extra effort to coordinate difficult to view listings. She was incredibly friendly to my wife and children, and even now, over a month later, they ask about her all the time. My girls tend to get pretty nervous about trying new things and meeting new people; however, Nora put us in touch with helpful and knowledgeable people. As a result, my daughters have made a seamless transition to new schools. As parents, this was our greatest worry in moving to a new state. Nora took care of this for us. She didn’t have to. It’s not in the job description. We didn’t ask her to do this. We would have bought a house and thought nothing less of her as a professional had she not taken the time to help us get connected. But she DID take that time. And it made an immeasurable difference. Mrs. Drury helped us see the positive and negative in every home we saw. We are inexperienced homebuyers and didn’t really know what to look for in evaluating a home. Making it more difficult was the fact that we used a VA loan, which comes with its own special set of requirements. She didn’t miss a beat in making sure we knew our options and what they meant to our specific circumstances. No question went unanswered, and no detail went overlooked. She really held our hands through the process, all the while not pushing us or making choices for us. When we ran into trouble closing with a difficult seller and his even more difficult agent, Nora didn’t press us to settle. She fought for us. She didn’t try to take the money and run after a demanding house hunt just because they had accepted our offer. She was fully willing and ready to back up and continue our search.Nora went above, not only what we expected, but beyond anything we could have dreamed. She is the very definition of “full service”. Not only did she help us find a house and prospective lenders, but, as previously stated, she put us in touch with representatives from our neighborhood schools. Additionally, Nora made sure we knew where to go to get utilities set up, as well as where to find the best shopping AND restaurants AND fitness centers AND parks AND family activities. As an example, one day we went to look at houses during my lunch break. Because of work commitments, I showed up late, so we ran a bit long. SHE BOUGHT ME LUNCH and brought it to my job (and as a side note it was delectable)! Did I mention that Mrs. Drury did ALL of this on a very recently broken ankle? As someone who suffered the same injury while in the Army, I know exactly how difficult it must have been and what type of pain she was going through while shuttling my family around trying to make us happy. After we closed on the home and moved in, Nora and her husband, brought us over a home cooked meal, complete with drinks and cutlery as congratulations. I just cannot imagine a better home buying experience. What more could she have done? Pay our mortgage? Nora is a credit to Carroll County. Knowing people like her living here makes it so much easier to love this place. My family is so grateful and I just wanted to make sure that someone else knew. I am unsure how realtors are recognized or rewarded for their efforts, but however it happens, Nora Drury is worthy of the recognition. We thank her from the bottom of our happy hearts.

Where do I start about this amazing Real Estate Agent?! I'll keep it short and sweet. She is amazing at what she does and she made me feel very much at ease with the whole process. My wife and I loved her and will be doing business again in the near future. Nora is very knowledgeable and keeps it 100% with you at all times. There are no dumb questions with her(believe me, we asked plenty). I purchased and short sale and it took a long time to get the deal going due to the nature of this. Nora kept us informed and worked her tail off trying tp push the deal forward.I felt lucky and was ready to go into "battle" with Nora by my side.Highly Recommended from this first time home buyer

Fales Realty is dishonest, unprincipled, and untrustworthy, learn from our mistake and select another realty firm while still you can. Do not sign a contract with this company and if you make the mistake of doing so, please read it thoroughly. Our realtor (Nora) was great in the beginning, she found us an amazing rental home when we moved from Texas to Maryland. We were going to considered using her when we bought our next preexisting home. Later (6 weeks before closing) we discovered this was a grave mistake. While renting our current home, my husband and I would drive around on weekends looking at new build homes in new communities. Months into our lease we found our forever home in a new build community with beautiful views and tons of space. We spoke with the sales associate in the new home community and the salesperson asked if we had a realtor. We asked what the difference would be with a realtor vs without one. New home builder explained that sometime the builder can give extra incentives, if the buyer does not have a realtor and that we would need to bring the realtor, before signing the contract if we decide to use a realtor. Since the realtor (Nora) didn’t have to show us any homes (not a single house) or put together any contracts (no offer sheets), but because she was helped on our rental before we wanted to possibly include her. We only wanted to help her out if she could contribute some commission ($5000) to assist with the closing cost, seeing as she (Nora) did not have to show us a single house. When asking our realtor in-regards to contributing towards our closing cost from her commission (3%) because we found a new build, she happily agreed. We later discovered that the builder was not paying the standard commission of 3%, but instead a flat fee of $8500, therefore our realtor (Nora) would still make $3500 for not showing us any homes or writing a single offer (NONE At ALL!), AKA free money ($3500). Before signing our new build contract and before signing with her (Nora), I asked her again (reconfirming a second time), Are you ok with the $5,000 towards closing from your commission (even at the $8500 flat fee commission), she stated “Of course!”. Months go-by without discussing the $5,000 contribution while our home is being built, as closing approaches, we tried reconfirming her $5,000 contribution (For accurate numbers from mortgage company) and that is the point we start getting the run around. She doesn’t answer our questions regarding the money, she diverts to incentives that the mortgage company may or may not provide. When complaining to the owner Bob Fales of the real estate company, my feedback from their office was that when I signed the contract to use their realtor, the buyer or seller was to pay 3% on the base model price, this was not discussed at all with us (why would any buyer do this). Never in the five homes we have owned previously, have we ever had such a horrible realtor and real-estate company. They completely went back on their word and then continued to inform us that they already paid us money towards closing because Nora’s commission was already reduced for doing NOTHING. However, this was NEVER communicated to us before signing any contacts. Now we are stuck without additional incentives from the builder and having the builder payout $8500 for not doing anything. Please heed our advice and look for another firm and most certainly another realtor.

My husband and I was recommended Nora and we couldn't have been happier with her as our realtor. We are 1st time home buyers and our entire process from start looking for our home to closing day was super quick, painless and not in the least bit stressful like other would say their process is. Nora is so sweet & laid back. She has an awesome fun personality and made our home buying process fun and exciting. we valued her opinions and concerns on things and she was very thorough when answering our questions. She likes to get to know her clients so she can better assist you in finding your perfect home . Anytime I spoke with Nora it felt like we had been friends forever already haha. Nora has been a great support throughout the home buying process. We started our house search in June 2022 right on the tail end of the market boom so our expectation was that finding and closing on a new home would be a long process, perhaps a year. Well, 6 weeks after contacting Nora we were already closing on our dream house! Nora was with us every step of the way, always helpful and enthusiastic without being pushy. Nora helped make make the stressful experience of purchasing a new house into an enjoyable one and we thank her so much for that.
