When my husband retired from the USNavy he took a job in Knoxville. So, 9 yrs ago when I realized that we were staying put for awhile, I decided to get my real estate license. Having moved 9 times in 13 years, I felt I knew from first hand experience how to be a fantastic agent! I remembered what I liked, and didn't like, about agents we'd had through each move. I loved the agents who made me feel like I was the most important thing in their world at that moment. I didn't like the ones that I couldn't get to return my phone calls.

I had the best training through all those moves in regards to understanding how stressful it is to buy or sell a home, especially when it's your first time doing so! And if you have kids, the stress of wondering if schools are good, neighborhood safe, natives welcoming....I have been there, done that, so I try my best to make the buying and selling experience as pleasant and stress free as possible. In the military, we had an instant family to welcome us and help us adapt to our new environment. That is not the case for most people, so I try to bring that sense of "instant family" to my clients by helping them adapt to their new environment as best that I can. I love what I do!
