My wife, Venise, and I purchased a home in The Villages in 2005 after extensive visitations on the west coast of Florida. We asked ourselves “ after a round of golf or a beach/boating day, then what?” Our answer was waiting for us here in The Villages in Central Florida!
Dancing to live entertainment on one of the three Squares, 365 evenings a year, every year….all of the sports venues you can imagine for resident use, over 600 holes of golf, 72 resident swimming pools, over 37 regional and neighborhood recreation buildings for everything from playing cards to large Gatherings/parties and even exercise and educational classes!
This was precisely what we were looking for and, now, also for over 120,000 people as our population grows….folks are here because they WANT to be here, NOT because they have to be here!
I have been in the Real Estate industry since 1972. I started in Central Maine with my own agency, then with RE/MAX and Keller Williams national franchises. When we moved to Florida, I became a Broker Associate with Realty Executives in The VILLAGES. This agency focuses on The Villages re-sale market and maintains an average of over 45% of the Realtor market!
FAMILIARIZING potential buyers with this magnificent community of over 64,000 single family one level homes is a SERVICE to clients that I truly enjoy . As a result, I have been a consistent multi-million dollar producer since 2006(when I began here) as well as “up north” over the years!
In late 2014, we SOLD our home in The Villages and moved to the wonderful community of DEL WEBB SPRUCE CREEK COUNTRY CLUB (SCCC) in Summerfield, Florida, only about 4 miles north of The Villages. We now enjoy a similar life style with many amenities and a smaller, active retirement community of 3250 single family homes
We have two sons in their 40’s who are married and well employed in Alaska and Maryland.
Our oldest is a University of Maine grad and received his Masters from the University of Alaska where he and his wife, Megan, reside in Anchorage.
The youngest son is a Graduate of West Point and earned an MBA from Boston College. He and his wife, Dide, are also well employed, enjoy many sports, and are a joy to us at every level.
Please feel free to contact me ANYTIME ….SERVICE to you is my PRIME objective!
