Buying a first home can be kind of overwhelming. Scott helped make the process easy. He got me a good deal on the house, explained every piece to paperwork to me before i signed it. He also did a good job keeping me updated as the process went along. Overall, it was an extremely easy process, and i will use Scott again if i have to buy again or sell.

Contacted Scott for buying a house,He immediately disregarded our plan to offer and tried to discourage us from buying the house due to its poor condition, said the house has been sitting there forever and no one would buy it . He also promised one loan associate he knows to give us a call and nobody did. Four days later, after we got aproved for a mortgage on from our own bank, we come back to him and he wont even show us the house because now it has 3 Offers!Unbelievable!, He sounds too nice, He ultimately can't care less.

I always recommend Scott to all my friends and co workers. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Showed us many homes at a minute notice.When we are ready to purchase again Scott will be our first call.

I recently purchased a town house in Upstate New York and it was a great experience. During my home searching I worked with several realtors in Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida. The realtors were very competent and sent on many properties for consideration. However, there was one realtor, Scott Gerni in Upstate New York who stood out. He impressed me with his objectivity in describing the various available properties in the Upstate New York area. I selected a town home and Scott willingly made a visit to the property and took pictures of both the good and bad features. I really felt that I had an honest property assessment and based on subsequent conversation with Scott I started the home purchase process. Scott did a great job in coaching me to negotiate a final 7.4% price reduction from the seller. The seller was insisting on a 1 1/2 month closing which is almost impossible in Upstate New York. Scott facilitated the mortgage loan process and I was able to close on the property in 1 1/2 months! I want to emphasize that Scott made the purchase of this property very easy. Whenever I had a question I would call Scott direct and he was 100% available to answer all questions every time. If anyone wants to complete a home purchase in a very timely manner with high quality results in a professional style, Scott Gerni would be the real estate professional I would recommend to contact.

I was understandably nervous about buying a home in NY when I live nearly 5,000 miles away in Hawaii, but Scott was wonderfully helpful and reassuring through the whole process. He sent me all sorts of listings according to my criteria, walked through several properties and took new pictures (including pictures of flaws, which I really appreciated), counseled me against a few properties that looked good online, and eventually helped me make a competitive offer on a home. I've been able to sign all required documents digitally, which was a huge help, and I am currently in the process of closing on this home.

We bought a house in 2008 when Scott represented the seller. We were so impressed with his professionalism that when we wanted to sell the house in 2010, we seek out for him to be our sellers agent. We believe a real estate agent should be much more than just showing the houses and filling out the paper works. He proved to be the best agent we had hoped for. His knowledge, experience and skills helped all the way through the process and the house was sold on time and on the money. We wished we could take him along when we did the real estate transactions in other state:-).

Scott did a great selling our home very quickly. He gave us great advise and helped us price our home right to get it Sold fast. He made the transaction go very smoothly. And we where always able to get a hold of him when ever we had questions.
