I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Sergio. I live out of state and with very little knowledge about the market in Paterson, NJ, he guided me through out the whole process from listing to closing. I have dealt with a couple of realtors before Sergio, but I knew instantly that he was the one for me. He's honest and very hands-on. He even went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was taken care of, and he really helped to take the pressure off of me through out the transaction. During the process it was discovered that an old oil tank on my property was abandoned or removed and the City of Paterson lost the documentation. Sergio worked tirelessly, and went to the City offices to get an answer, he investigated and was able to recover the information and the city was able to update their records so I could close. I never felt forced to accept an offer and when we finally found the "one" we sat down and went over all the details of the contract, Sergio walked me through every step of the negotiation and finalized a great price for my home. I would highly recommend Sergio if your thinking about selling your home.

I don’t even know where to begin! Sergio is hands down the best agent around. From the initial communication his knowledge and experience were clear. He asked all the pertinent questions and created a basic house hunting game plan in the areas we we were interested in that had homes that met our “must haves”. He was always patient and understanding, always eager to provide information about homes we came across ourselves, and sent us daily emails with home possibilities, always maintaining communication and updating our preferences as they changed. When we finally chose a house the country was hit with Covid-19 and our entire closing process was up in the air. Our closing date changed multiple times and we were extremely discouraged. Sergio made every attempt to guide us through the process and kept us updated throughout until we were finally able to proceed. I think what stands out the most is his ability to think outside of the box. When we began the process I was adamant that I would not deviate more than a certain distance from the general area we chose. Further proof of his exceptional selling abilities, he sold me on looking just a bit further out and his insight and ability to truly “see” what his clients are looking for surely paid off. We just closed on our dream home a little less than a week ago. A truly magnificent house that I would have never even known about had it not been for Sergio’s hard work and dedication to his clients and his determination to helping them find their perfect fit. There aren’t enough thank yous to express how grateful we are. Buying a home is one of the most important decisions a person will ever make. I had spent four difficult months trying to sell my home of 40 years by myself. I would not advise taking this route for the average person. I was extremely fortunate to find an agent Sergio Lamonta with United Realty who was expertly knowledgeable in selling homes. It also helped that he had lived in this city at one time and was up to date on the real estate here.I met Sergio at my home and he showed me all the comparable comps, telling me what my house was worth. This why you need an expert professional. He then proceeded to take pictures. After our discussion, I felt a lot of relief. It reminded me of the Allstate commercial, “You’re in good hands.”The following day, he called me for a showing that same day. Three days later there was a signed contract. He negotiated the whole deal. Two and a half months later we closed. I was extremely happy with the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend him because he is great at what he does.
