Shannon was all i could ask for and more as my agent! He is flexible and determined to find the best house possible. Being a young home buyer we didn't really know what to look for and possible flaws in a house and instead of just jumping the gun and pushing us to buy the house he took his time weighted out the pros and cons and also costs of repairs to me and my wife; that is what separates Shannon from many other agents. I met with Shannon Cain in person to view a rental property. During that meeting, he told me we could move in that weekend. We shook hands, and he stated he would text me with instructions on where to make the first month’s rent and security deposit.Shortly after leaving, I texted him to confirm the name to make the check out to so I could go to the bank and get the funds. I did not receive a response for quite some time. When he finally responded, he informed me that the property had already been rented to someone else.This was especially concerning because both over the phone and in person, he indicated that if we wanted the property, he would not waste the second couple’s time.When I expressed concern about how this was handled, I was told he was “not particularly concerned” about a review.I understand that property managers represent the owner, but giving a clear verbal commitment, shaking hands, and directing someone to move forward—only to reverse course without timely communication—is highly unprofessional and a poor way to conduct business.I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing before taking any action when dealing with this company.
