I am originally from Seneca, S.C. In 1971 I married an Army Lt.,Steve, who was from CA. After 2 years in the Army at Ft. Devons, Mass., we moved to the Los Angeles area where Steve re-entered the LAPD. I became an attorney and we had 3 children. In 1991 we moved to Kingsport, TN, and I began my real estate career. In 2002 I became a broker for a RE/MAX office and later moved to a Realty World office. In April of 2011 I started my own office, Signature Properties.
The "Signature" difference is our pledge to donate a portion of every commission earned to a charity of our client's choice. Although we have been open only a few years, we have already been able to give over $170,000 to a great variety of charities. We also encourage our agents to participate with and be an ambassador to local charities from our company. We have helped Habitat build homes, United Way clean public arenas and paint interiors, and Salvation Army ring the bells, just to name a few. In an era when Americans want to give but don't have the means, we are providing the opportunity for all real estate buyers and sellers to make a difference in the lives of many others.
