Tom was my first positive experience working with a realtor! He was knowledgeable yet didn’t hesitate to research specifics as needed. Very honest and straight forward during the selling process. Tom was creative and resourceful 18 hours prior to closing when we hit some irregular issues concerning previous easements. I would highly recommend Tom!

He is knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to work with and if you are looking for a home in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Radford area, he will help you find exactly what you’re looking for, answer your questions along the way, and go the extra mile to make the experience pleasant and even fun.For me in particular, I was looking for an investment property, not a primary residence. He was able to guide me and answer questions about what to look for in a property, what the local market was like, what my expectations should be, and what I should look for. He connected me with a fantastic lender who was also incredibly helpful and stayed with me throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend him enough.

Tom is a great realtor! Super helpful on the entire process. We aren't unfamiliar with buying property but for this one, we were doing it from out of the area so it made it tougher. Tom took the distance factor out of it by being our "eyes and ears" when we had questions. His engineering background was helpful and he is great at what he does. Tom has great demeanor, is level headed and just a good laid back attitude too so when you start to second guess things he is a great sounding board all throughout the process. Hopefully we'll do another deal and when we do we will call Tom!

I just finished closing on my first home after renting for 25 years. I found Tom Sproul via a Google search, after coming across a couple of less than stellar realtors. He had great reviews and I hoped for the best. From the first moment we spoke, he was on top of everything. We played the "find a great and affordable house in a crazy market" game, and he made sure that he got in touch with listing agents, went and saw properties (via video calls since I was out of state), and was wonderful walking me through several offers until I had an offer accepted. We ran into several technical difficulties making the property work for my VA loan, but his prior knowledge of a lot of things, tied in with an ability to research for correct solutions, made navigating these issues much easier. He was patient and explained a lot of the things to me that I didn't understand, which was a huge help. I always felt as though I was his top priority throughout the entire process, even though I know I was not the only client he was helping. I never once felt I had to worry if he was handling what needed to be done. He was always wonderful about communicating promptly with whatever home-buying questions I had.I HIGHLY recommend Tom Sproul to anyone looking for property in his area!!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience looking for houses/properties with Tom. He is very knowledgeable and was extremely patient as we went back and forth figuring out what exactly we were looking for. I also really appreciate that he was proactive but never pushy. We would 100% recommend Tom to anyone and would definitely go back to him if we were ever in the market again!
