About Ellen Gvili



Ellen is a full-time realtor with 17 years of real estate experience in the Florida Keys. As an expert Sotheby's International Realty Advisor, she offers her clients local market expertise, a commitment to quality personal service and the ability to reach buyers and sellers worldwide.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a Key West real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently.   

Ellen was born in Berlin, Germany. She has a Master’s degree in North and South American Studies and Journalism. During her University years she lived in Berlin; Cambridge, England; and Costa de la Luz, Spain. In 1998, she visited and fell in love with the beauty of the Florida Keys. A year later she moved to Key West and started her real estate career in 2003. She has been a full time residential and commercial real estate agent ever since.

She offers Sellers a comprehensive international marketing program which includes professional internet marketing, print advertising in local and exclusive national and international magazines, virtual tours, Video, Facebook and YouTube exposure, open houses, realtor caravans and more. With buyers, she works exclusively for clients in search of new properties guiding them through the buying process, understanding and knowing the specific needs. She will help you selecting and viewing properties, negotiating on your behalf, managing inspections, and permits, and connecting them to mortgage and insurance experts, contractors, land planners until the closing and after. She is also a designated short sale and foreclosure specialist.

Ellen and her husband have two wonderful boys and they are all very involved in the community of Key West.
