About Shirley Walker

When you hire me, you are hiring a marketer and a negotiator. I have an extensive marketing plan to sell your property - not just the "3 P''''s" that most realtors use (Put it in MLS, Place a sign in front and Pray).

I began my real estate career over 25 years ago. I opened 2 real estate offices while in Burley, Century 21 Riverside and later Better Homes Walker Realty.

We moved to Kirkland, Wa for 3 years where I was associated with John L Scott Realty and Re/Max. When we returned to Idaho, we settled here in Boise and have been here now for over 20 years! I love the Treasure Valley. I enjoy golf and recently purchased in a Polaris RZR and hope to explore the many trails and lakes that are hidden off the main roads here in Idaho.

Having the right real estate agent means having an agent who is committed to helping you buy or sell your home with the highest level of expertise in your local market. This means also to help you in understanding each step of the buying or selling process. This commitment level has helped me build a remarkable track record of delivering results.

Nothing is more exciting to me than the gratifying feeling I get from helping people meet their real estate needs. You can count on me to always do what''''s in your best interest. I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable in the real estate market. I know how important it is to find your dream home or get the best offer for your property. Therefore I will make it my responsibility to help you achieve those goals.

Risks And Rewards Of Selling Your Home Without A Realtor

From the perspective of a home buyer, the position of a real estate agent can seem unjustified in its existence. Why in the world would you pay someone 6% commission on the total sale price of your home, just so that they can set up a couple signs in the yard and do some paperwork? On the face of it, it seems utterly preposterous; why not just sell your home without a ...
