Tonia Merlene is an alumni from the University of North Texas in Denton, where she received a Bachlor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management with a minor in Accounting and International Studies. She has had business marketing experience since 1987 and has been involved in different phases of Real Estate including Commercial, Residential, Property Management since 1990. She has had over 4 years experience in Business Sales, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures. Some of her previous work expereince is at Grubb and Eliis Real Estate, Henry S. Miller, and Quest Medical. She was directly involved in the Quest/Nueromed Acquisition which is currently known as St. Jude Medical of Plano, TX. Tonia speaks the Russian and Polish languages fluently and is proficient in French and comprehends Spanish, German, Yiddish, and some Hebrew.
Tonia is a Dallas native where she has resided her entire life. Tonia has been blessed with 3 talented children: An Actress and 2 Basketball Stars. Tonia's hobbies include country and western dancing, ballet, photography, basketball and family time. She also loves chihuahuas and adopting dogs that need love, nurturing, and a home.

We had a great experience searching for our home with Tonia. Tonia provided us with access to online listings with the ability to be notified as each new listing was posted. She was always very responsive or would let us know if there was something in her schedule that might hinder her responsiveness. We would send Tonia the listings we were interested in seeing with 2 days notice and she worked hard to arrange viewings in a timely and orderly fashion so that it was efficient. She always came with the info sheet for each property and encouraged us to take notes at each to help us remember as we reviewed later. There were two properties that we were especially eager to see and Tonia arranged viewings for the same or next day. She was great in the offer and contract process as well. She provided insight on what to ask for or omit to negotiate and would give us her opinion, but never swayed us in any direction. We would absolutely recommend Tonia.

We have been in our house now for just shy of a year and we wouldn't be here without Tonia's help. She is so knowledgeable about the ins and outs of what makes a good home and what makes a good purchase. Tonia got to know the seller and her realtor and was able to get us into the home even though we weren't the highest offer on the table. We can't thank her enough for what she did for us, we are so happy to be in a home and out of apartment life!
