Definition of "Shippers radioactive contamination insurance"

Coverage for shippers of certain radioactive materials, such as medical or commercial isotopes, for direct loss or damage by radioactive contamination; does not cover transport of radioactive waste or nuclear reactor fuel. Coverage has two forms: one for transport on common carriers and the other for transport on vehicles operated by or for an insured.
