Floating Floor
Floor design to provide sound insulation qualities. A floating floor is separated from the building's structure by use of special resilient materials, often fabricated from fiberglass, or flexible mounting devices, including springs. Is used when there is a need to separate the rest of the building from noise, vibration, or a combination of these elements often produced machinery.
