Self-trusteed Trust
Definition of "Self-trusteed trust"
Arrangement in which individuals serve as trustees of their own living trust and name another party (successor trustee) to manage the assets if they should become incapacitated. In this type of trust, individuals are assured that their assets will continue to be managed as desired without interruption.
