Act that requires the Department of Labor (DOL) to have a formal program to educate the public about the importance of saving for retirement. The DOL is also required to educate the public concerning the characteristics of the various pension plans. The act requires the President to conduct three national summits on retirement savings in the years 1998, 2001, and 2005.
